However, although coaching works in sport it is often lacking in business development and because it lacks the edge of real performance - measurement and appraisal.
It is the making of small % differences in the really key areas that makes the difference to the bottom line.
PCL are business coaching consultants. We work from a 7 step coaching model.
- Contract to win/develop/improve. What does it mean in real terms – behavioural and measurable?
- Measure before the coaching and after two/three sessions to get feed back in the key areas the coaching is designed to improve. Discuss and analyse
- Challenge and support. Support the people and challenge their potential rigorously
- Measure again after fourth/fifth session learn, adapt and step up
- Design the Future – Personal Development Plan (PDP) – Six weeks after conclusion
- Feed-back and measure again
- Final Review of full skills and next stage of PDP.
